FAQs

  • Most dog photography sessions are held at a scouted location within the Quad City IA/IL area that Liz has personally visited to find the best area for those WOW shots. This may be at parks or public areas. Most sessions do require a short walk to the destination. If this would be an issue just let Liz know and she’ll be sure to choose a location that is more easily accessible. If you have an area that is sentimental to you and your pup, such as a beach or woodland, let Liz know and she will do her best to accommodate. Please keep in mind that areas with full sun exposure are not always the best option for photography.

  • Realistically speaking, the galleries and collections available have a great deal of value packed inside them and past clients have never said or suggested what Liz offers is overpriced. In fact, most come back time and time again for more photographs!

Our products, including investment values, can be seen on the Sessions page. You may also request a fully comprehensive session and product guide. Most clients tend to invest between $500 and $3000 on their photographic session and artwork afterwards.

  • No worries! Almost all of the dogs in Liz’s photos are photographed on leash and it is removed during the editing process! Liz’s number one concern is SAFETY! Even if your dog can be off-lead most areas require dogs to be leashed.

  • Absolutely! With high shutter speeds and a few tricks Liz has picked up in her experience as a dog photographer, she can capture even the wildest of pups! It only takes a split second to get a photo. Now that’s not to say you won’t capture a few bloopers! However, Liz’s number one goal is always to capture your pup's personality. Most of those high-energy pups can be quite goofy and those most often turn out to be the favorite images in the gallery because they show your dog's real character!

Liz will ALWAYS advocate for your dog by using force free and positive reinforcement methods.

  • All of our dog portrait sessions can accommodate multiple dogs! Liz does suggest having at least one handler per dog if possible. That way we can focus on one dog at a time when trying to set up a photo. If you need an extra handler please let Liz know her husband/assistant, Kyle, is happy to help keep your doggo occupied so you can focus on instructions.
